9-2-25: It's Here!

The discman is here! It's so tiny, I hadn't really expected it to be that size, but I guess it makes sense. I love it so much so far! It was quite the journey to get it up and running, but I've gotten a hang of how it works. I didn't have the right batteries, and then I found some, and then my headphones were being stupid. I didn't realize my headphones actually have a microphone (big no-no for Mr. Discman), but if I hold down the push-to-talk (I think?) button, the sound is great. So I've got a laundry clip thing holding the button down for me lmao.

It has been so fun listening to all my albums this way. Genuinely I've been able to hear instruments and sound effects in some songs that are impossible to hear on Spotify. It's so crisp and it makes me feel more connected to the music rather than being a passive listener. (Also love actually owning my media.)
